Marvi Booked For Leading NPIW Employees’ Demo:Karachi

Police has booked PML-Q Information Secretary Marvi Memon for leading a protest demonstration against provincial government’s obstinacy regarding contractual employees of the National Programme for Implementation of Watercourses (NPIW) in Karachi today. The NPIW contractual employees have been staging a sit-in outside Karachi Press Club by the of for the last seven days for job regularization. An FIR has been filed against Marvi in Police Station Artillery Ground, which contained riots, and anti-peace sections against her, however arrest has not been made so far.
