New York City public schools will be closed on Wednesday. Snowstorm is expected to cover the region overnight.Mayor Michael Bloomberg will make the early announcements during news conference.

New York City residents were mostly spared from the blizzard-like conditions that paralyzed Washington D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia and most of New Jersey on Saturday, but as CBS 2 Meteorologist John Elliott tells us, the Big Apple won’t be so lucky this time tomorrow.

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for most areas in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York.
