Steve McNair’s girlfriend bought the gun that killed him

Sahel kazemi Funeral Report: Steve McNair’s girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi bought the gun that killed both McNair and herself. Kazemi allegedly bought the gun a few days before McNair’s murder.
Police spokesmen Don Aaron said, “We believe the pistol recovered from the apartment was purchased by Kazemi.”
The AP has reported that Farzin Abdi, Kazemi’s nephew, said police told him that Sahel Kazemi purchased the gun found at the crime scene. Police also allegedly told him they are almost certain Kazemi was the one who killed McNair and herself.

Sahel Kazemi mugshot shown above was taken when she was arrested on a DUI charge. Steve McNair was in the black Escalade Kazemi was driving when she was arrested. McNair reportedly bailed Kazemi out of jail the day of her arrest.
The arrest affidavit says Sashel Kazemi’s “eyes were bloodshot and watery. She had an obvious odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her breath but denied any consumption.” The affidavit also states “She said she was not drunk but high.” You can read the entire arrest affidavit on the News Channel 5 website. News Channel 5 also says the officer that arrested Kazemi is the same officer who arrested Steve McNair for a DUI in 2003.
